Following the successful development of an iTV media center for Glashart Media (a Dutch TV distributor with 80.000+ connections), offering a TV menu, EPG, recorder functionality and various interactive apps, Stoneroos has conceived and developed brand new tablet apps for iOS (iPad app) and Android.

These tablet apps allow Glashart Media's customers to control their set-top box wherever they are, as well as having a comprehensive program guide with a Stoneroos patented user interface. Moreover, these tablet apps enables zapping, pausing live TV, (remote) control recordings and reminders, with just the touch of your finger.

The connection between the tablet apps app and the set-top box is facilitated through a mobile API, developed by Stoneroos. To establish the connection between the tablets and set-top box, users can obtain a unique connection code. Via their set-top box settings, customers of Glashart Media  can generate such a code and use it on their tablet to materialize the connection giving them full set-top box control.
